Kitty & Oli – Engagement Shoot Richmond Park

Kitty & Oli (14 of 31)

It is always nice to be asked to photograph a wedding for someone who has been recommended by a previous client. Having photographed James and Hannah’s wedding last year, Oli was heavily involved as one of James’s Best men, it gave both Oli and his Fiancee Kitty, the chance to see how i work during a wedding day and also the quality pictures that i produce first hand. After our first proper meeting to discuss their wedding plans, i was bowled over by their enthusiasm for photography and their ideas. These being similar to my documentary style of photography weddings it was clear that we were on the same page from the start. The relationship between a photographer and the couple is of paramount importance to me so to be so comfortable in each others company was perfect. An Engagement shoot Richmond Park in Greater London at this time of year is one of the most idyllic places to photograph. With children, families, cyclists and stunning wildlife all apparent on this Sunday morning it gave us the chance to experience a piece of natural beauty and get to know each other whilst doing their engagement shoot. It was great to walk through the park discussing the Church in Putney and the Marquee reception at Kitty’s parents home, it is clear that this is going to be a very personal and intimate wedding for them both which i cannot wait to shoot.

Here are some of the shots from that day
